With Faith App User Agreement (Terms of Use)
Please be sure to read the following terms carefully before using the With Faith App (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Description of Service Content
This app provides the following services:
- Bible verse reading and related spiritual resources;
- Faith Q&A and spiritual companionship function based on artificial intelligence technology;
- User community interaction (if applicable);
We reserve the right to change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Services as necessary.
2. User Eligibility
The App's Bible reading and related devotional content is available to users of any age. The AI Assistant feature is available only to users who indicate, at first installation, that they are 18 years of age or older; users who indicate they are under 18 will not have access to the AI Assistant. We rely on user self-representation regarding age; we do not currently perform independent age verification.
3. Disclaimer of Belief Content
Although we are committed to providing content that is in line with biblical (KJV) and evangelical positions:
- All responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute theological authority or personal pastoral advice;
- Artificial intelligence and large language models are frontier technologies that are still improving in accuracy, reliability, and safety. AI Q&A assistants are procedurally generated, and their results may skew due to contextual or semantic understanding, and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain material inaccuracies even when they appear accurate or detailed;
- You should not rely on any AI-generated response without independently confirming its accuracy, particularly for matters of doctrine, ethics, or personal decision-making;
- AI-generated responses may occasionally contain content that is inconsistent with With Faith LLC's own views or intended theological framing;
- We are not legally responsible for the consequences arising from religious understanding, spiritual decisions, or personal actions.
4. Medical, Psychological and Legal Disclaimers
The content of this app may contain advice related to psychological, health, or ethical matters, but:
- We do not provide medical, psychotherapeutic or legal services;
- All advice is for spiritual companionship and reflection only and should not be used as a substitute for medical, psychological or legal professional advice;
- We are not responsible for the consequences of any decisions made by users relying on the content of this app.
4a. Crisis Situations — Not a Crisis Service
This App is not a crisis intervention service and is not staffed by licensed professionals. If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or are in crisis, please immediately contact:
- 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call or text, available 24/7 in the U.S.), or
- 741741 (Crisis Text Line), or
- 911 or your local emergency services.
The App may use automated methods (including keyword detection and AI-based analysis) to identify messages that suggest a potential risk of self-harm, and may display crisis resources in response. This detection is automated, may not catch every instance of risk, and is not a substitute for professional intervention or human oversight. See our Privacy Policy for how such messages may be retained for safety review purposes.
5. User Code of Conduct
Users may not use the App to publish, disseminate, or generate the following content:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics;
- Content that is pornographic, violent, fraudulent, or abusive;
- Content intended to impersonate others or to spam or abuse the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate this Code of Conduct, without prior notice. Good-faith theological questions or disagreement with the App's default doctrinal framing is not, by itself, a violation of this Agreement.
6. Intellectual Property Notices
- All content in this app (including but not limited to text, images, AI Q&A, interface design) is owned by With Faith LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws.
- Users are not allowed to copy, forward, or commercially exploit without authorization.
7. Personal Data and Privacy
We respect the privacy of our users, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
- By default, we do not save the content of your regular conversations with the App.
- Exception: If a message you send indicates a potential risk of self-harm or suicide (whether detected via keyword matching or AI-based analysis), that specific message and the App's response may be retained for safety review purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell your personal information (if any) to third parties.
8. Third Parties
We integrate third-party service providers to operate the App, including OpenAI (API) for AI-generated responses and Railway for application hosting and data storage. Their respective privacy and data processing terms apply to data processed through their services. We will update this list if the third-party providers we use change materially.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE APP AND ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS AND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, PRIVACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LAWS OF SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, With Faith LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the App shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), regardless of the theory of liability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless With Faith LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs), and other losses arising out of or related to: your breach or alleged breach of this Agreement; your access to or use of the App; your violation of applicable law or any third party's rights; or any actual or alleged fraud, intentional misconduct, or unlawful act committed by you. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us as reasonably requested.
12. Application of Law and Dispute Resolution
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the place of registration (i.e., the laws of the State of Missouri, U.S.A.);
- If a dispute arises, the two parties shall resolve it through friendly negotiation; if the negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to the state court for litigation settlement.
13. Changes to the Agreement
We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time, and changes will be notified within the App or updated on the page. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the changed terms.
